The Garden Poem by Maryanne Richards

The Garden

As you pass this way say a quiet hello
Even shake a leaf or two.
We send you our love with the wafting perfume
As we open our face to the sun.

When the rain does come it washes us clean
And gives us our nutrients too.
Whoever you are that walks this way,
Know that love is the wellspring here.
You are as welcome as the flowers in spring
And it will always be that way.

Pretty as pansies...a tender write that drew me in...left me wanting spring to hurry up and arrive! Thawed my winter's world. PEACE
