The Gift Of Love Poem by Kevin Seales

The Gift Of Love

Christmas season is once again
The most giving time of the year
The gifts that we give to family and friends
Do not come from santa or reindeer

But if I were santa, what gift would I leave
A bunny, a turtle, or a dove
Some kids I know, are hard to please
No matter how much they are loved

There's no greater gift that one could receive
From your family or even a friend
The gift of love does not grow on trees
So giving it comes from within

Singing carols around the christmas tree
Or sharing toys with your brother
All these things are so wonderful to me
Like my father and my mother

So next time you see reindeer in the sky
Leaving your house from above
You'll look under the tree, and you won't ask why
Santa left you the gift of love
