Wanted to reach the sky
And touched finally;
Desired to be the sky
She, herself
And became;
But prior to all these
Only once
She had to commit suicide
By
Hanging
From
A
Ceiling
Fan...
She had to commit suicide By Hanging From A Ceiling Fan... THE Fact.
You don't tell us why this girl killed herself, may be you don't know or maybe the reason is so commonplace that it doesn't have to be said. The important thing is that you have given her death a poetic meaning, you gave us her vision - to touch the sky - a metaphor of flight and freedom or something else equally positive. That is the image of her your readers will carry with them and it gives her life a positive quality it lacked in her time on earth. This doesn't change the tragedy of her death, but it grants her an imaginative victory, your gift to her lost soul.
Thanks a lot, dear poet. It's a common scenario and status of women in a society where we have to live. There are facts not to describe in details.
A terse commentary on the condition of girls in our society and ignominy they are subjected to in our conservative, male dominated society. You have rightly highlighted their plight. Thanks.
