The Lake

I will open up my eyes
In the land with the cool lake
Where the Sun will beam at me
Through the trunks of trees
And the soft mist
Shall float over the nearly frozen aqua

I'll be waiting for the bees
To start buzzing around me
When I shall be enjoying the smell
Of fine moist weed nearby

Although they would be dirty
My mood nonetheless, would be flirty

I would lie down for a while
Not look left or right
Or way behind

I shall just be looking at this beautiful scene in front of me
That would captivate me, as if holy illusion

I would close my eyes
And lie down to rest
One hand in the water

A fish would come
And convey me the message
From the Netherworld down below
That is happy to see a guest
After such a long time,
Near the lake..
