Twilight - Ii

Venus tonight is quite a distance
From the beaming Moon
They both have argued maybe
Over resplendent romance
Who's more romantic?
Huh, pity them both
One rock, one fire
They think it's either one of them I love
Nay,
I love The Lord
Who created them both
By His Majesty and Will
He is The All Potent
Created wonders to explore...
Only few understand
And a handful appreciate
These gifts of the night
At twilight,
And oft before and after,
The clouds cover them from sight
Leaving an emptiness inside me
Of not having observed them till my soul's content
When the Moon gets veiled by the symbolic clouds
Venus, she winks from behind.
The black shine
And when Venus is hidden
The Moon, he shines
With boastful show of pride
And when both are covered
I shut my eyes to sleep
And catch a better glimpse
Of magical nights
In my dreams...
