The Little Boy's Cat Poem by Randy Johnson

(This is a fictional poem)

Last week I did something that I would regret.
I accidentally ran over a little boy's pet.
The boy was so hurt that he couldn't stop crying.
My words gave him no comfort even though I kept trying.

I can't even look in the mirror because of what I did to that boy.
Because of that accident, his world has been destroyed.
I will never forget the look on his face.
I know it was an accident but I still feel like a disgrace.
