The Man Who Came Back Poem by John Paul Ceron

The Man Who Came Back

People around him would never knew,
That this man is boarding away,
For he had done same good things
As people who will really stay.

Until that day, with that unbelievable news,
Everyone was surprised and could never move
As words and sounds came through
Of the goodbye he never told.

Waters came flowing by
As emotions increase in height
From the people who find no reason
Why this man should leave.

For he was loved by many,
And admired by some.
For he is a friend to everyone,
And a family to some.

Though no one believed
That, that thing is true,
He never showed up on that day
The time people hoped that he will come.

Some had lost hope
But others are still believing.
And this man who never bid goodbye,
Came back and settled for good.

And people were surprisingly happy.
For their hearts lifted with joy.
As if this man went to a war,
And gained the flag of the enemy.
