Virtues Poem by John Paul Ceron

Virtues

Look up.
And set your eyes to the sky
For the sun still shines
Even after the dark times.

Bow down.
And keep your head low
For everything fall
By the time they go up.

Hold on.
And keep your hands tight,
For things will be difficult
As you advance to the next stage.

Kneel down.
And lay your body to Him
For He will not fail you
Whenever you lose hope.

Sit back
And be firm and proper,
For great things come
To those who can wait.

Chin up.
And be who you are
For beauty resides
In the heart of the gentle.

Shut up.
And let silence be heard
For there's to achieve
If one reflect on its own.

Voice out.
And be heard by everyone
For peace can't be achieve
By being silent all the time.

Stand up.
And own your rightful stage
For you are its master
Despite what others may say.
