Looking into your eyes
I see more then what you realize
A life of such pain
Memories that at times
drive you insane
Inside it cries
and outside it hurts
Wanting and needing
But pride
won't let you burst..
Scars that may be hidden
under your skin
But I see whats livin
Within..
Those invisible tears...
You cry at night
I see them as clear
As the morning light....
Love is what you strive....
But anger keeps you away
Frustration towards yourself
clouds your day...
It's never enough
Is what you say...
.............
incomplete feelings within your head
But thats for the weak
Is what you said..........
Favoritism...between those
You love the most...
So you pushed that aside
Not knowing.....
It'll mess with you
When your alone........
Watching the one you love
Struggle...
Gave you no choice but to hustle.......
Putting the world on your shoulders....
The hurt seemed to double......
loneliness became
an escape
fear became
as sweet as cake
Knowledge became a hunger for you...
So you turned toward the music
And just let loose..
Suddenly you discovered
A knew you....
Lost in a storm
But now you gotta way out
Hit by it all
But now you stand tall
And although.....
You may think you've hid it all
I can see the complete damaged
it's caused.......
