Love is the moment I looked into your eyes
With the glare of the sunrise..
You had me mesmerized..
Love is..the passion you and I shared that night

With a mind we speak
with our eyes we weep
With our voice
loudly we scream
...
So much to endure
Life breaks you down
until you can't no more
always remember
...
Looking into your eyes
I see more then what you realize
A life of such pain
Memories that at times
...
A world of such mystery
so much unclaimed
no questions about none of it
because we fear wats not named
...
With lips as smooth as the pedals on a rose.......
and eyes that shine with out light......
With a smile that brightens up my day.......
or those hugs you give me that take my stress away.......

Ur mind races everything around you
suddenly has faces
Mocking you with every move you make
Its....Outrageous
...
When you close your eyes to envision your life,
First thing is darkness, no light in sight
You've gotta paint the picture because your lids are shut tight
Nothing yet....Fear pumps through your chest
...
To be told one could never find his happiness in you is so cold,
But when it's said that the happiness you once shared is dead, and can never be found again seems, terrifyingly unrealistic,
But TRUE
The very words uttered unto you, Numb your body completely.

Well just to know a little about me..... :) I been writing Poems for as long as i could remember...I've always seen it as an escape.. a way out... The only real way I could release whatever feelings or emotions it was that held me.... at one point captive..I feel some of the best poets are those. who live in there stories, , those who, with just a pen and paper can draw such a BEAUTIFUL and TALENTED picture...or with only the words uttered from there lips can paint you an escape and have you walk through it.. I Natalia Ortiz... Have and will always love writing it is my passion my dream and my escape..... DEDICATED: to all you poets....keep doing what you do..its BEAUTY in its truest form...)

With open eyes....

I make sure tho.........................................
To dream........... I may Shut my eyes..
I'm not blind..
Cautiously I decide....

Never afraid to walk in the dark..
Fear...I THANK GOD..

Never be caged in...

Because if not..........
You'll never know what shoes you'll fill...
