Drenching rain pours through me
And drowns out the sound
Of my frail heart breaking
With no one else around

The thundering storm is upon me
Theres nowhere else to turn
The flames are getting closer
And they're beginning to burn

I can't keep fighting the demons
For they never back down
The daggers keep coming
And Im nailed to the ground

The night cannot save me
As I fade into my dreams
For Im deep in the shadows
But I still hear the screams

Where is my savoir
Oh, where can she be
I need the beautiful stranger
To save me…from me

To lift me from sorrow
And bathe me in the light
I hope that she finds me
Before I succumb to the night
