The Other Side Poem by Luna Moon

The Other Side

You know you're right,
You got it all figured out.
I'll let you alone,
I'll cross the street,
Just as long as you keep your smirks to yourself.
Now I'mma go on,
An' find another flower to pick,
Butterfly to chase,
Candy to eat,
And no, no,
Peck someone else's cheek goodbye.
I can walk across the street alone,
I don't need to hold your hand.
I've let you alone,
So now you get outta my head,
An' I don't wanna see you on the other side of the street
You hear?
No, no,
I don't wanna see you on the other side of the street.
