I didn’t know… this pain of loving you would bring
All the pain… that I still feel inside.
I didn’t know the depth of leaving you would bring
Because of all my foolish… self centered pride.

It’s been more than ten years now
Since… I went away.
But I love you still…as much as I did then
I have loved you more and more each day.

Do you feel the same…as I do now?
Do you miss… and love me as much as I do you?
Or has your life…now taken such a different road?
Of what you may remember…. of me and you.

No matter what… the case might be
I will continue on… loving you as I do.
In hopes that maybe….if only in the end
I’ll still love the memory…of loving you.
