The Painter Poem by Blake Lives

The Painter

Rating: 4.5

It's almost unjust the effect you cause
Like a timid rose you are, beautiful even in silence
Rays of brilliant light reflecting on your long wavy petals
The only scene even comparable to a smile as bright and refreshing as a summer's eve
I never knew a flower to be such a formidable foe?
Yet no beating could compare to the pounding you deliver to my heart
My face a mere canvas for you to paint at your leisure
Splashed with red joy with your laughter
Or swallowed in blue despair with your absence

The way you have written this poem is very beautiful. All the comparisons you make to this girl is elegant and easy to understand why you have chosen them. Keep up the good work! :)
