The pearl
- - - - - - -
Sometimes cramp
Sometimes spasm
And sometimes ache
Seemed overwhelm her soul
Shaking calmness a bit
Like the wave flooding the shore
Leaving it to look desolate
Yet in retreating amid griefs and pains
Left a pearl behind on her breast
Like a blossom from God's garden
The little angel all wreathed in smiles
Came when all the world were asleep
Bringing amid griefs and pains
To her basketful of smiles
Beautiful imagery of pearl portrayed as angel. Loved the way you captured each lines.
retreating amid griefs and pains....................behind every beautiful creation there restrain some pain....nice
I didn't get it.... Is it a mother giving birth to a baby which is sweet as an angel as the lashing waves leave on the shore a pearl oyster? Great imagery!
