The Prettiest Afternoon Love Songs Poem by Hebert Logerie

I sent you the prettiest love songs this afternoon.
Tomorrow morning God willing, I'll send you more goodies,
Maybe sweet fragrant kisses, maybe countless exotic roses.
Darling, I want to swim with you soon, like two turtles, in a well.

I was also going to send you my heart, but after a thousand thoughts,
And thousands of vain attempts, I realized it was impossible
To commit such a neurasthenic, unbelievable and painful act.
Finally, I chose another form of exteriorization and execution.

I grabbed my best pen to verbalize the loudest words of my heart.
That was very awesome and innovative. Thus appeared happiness
And the voluptuous emotions I had sought for so many years.

Howbeit, you must make me a small promise, do not be saddened.
Because I don't want you to cry. I candidly want to see you exhilarated
Like the adorable woman with the most ethereal and generous soul.
