The Pure Heart (Love Conquers All) Poem by Justin Gildow

The Pure Heart (Love Conquers All)

The pure heart is surrounded
by a glowing light
No matter how it's been harmed
Whether by stabbing it with a
knife
Or smashing it with a sledgehammer
Or shooting at it with a gun
It always returns itself back to
normal

So it seems
At least to me
The pure heart is a symbol
A symbol that radiates the
message that love conquers all

Seeing all the smashed and
destroyed hammers and axes
And the scattered and unloaded
guns
Many have tried to destroy the
pure heart
And all of them have failed
Giving up in the process as well
I'm sure

The pure heart still glows brightly
As if to say to this crazy world
That love conquers all in the end

It's a crazy world we're living in
That's for sure

Stepping outside the castle, we can see love glows so brightly with the radiance of a billion stars- - an atomic bomb not even love can conquer all But welcome back 10++++++++++
