I remember the rain we shared together;
I remember the first dropp we felt together
Remember standing beneath the huge sky filled with the drops of love and ecstasy,
I remember you and me together under the shower and smiling at each other
I remember the first rain we shared together.

I remember it was July end and those days it was raining
Like it haven’t rained for decades,
And that night you took me to the terrace
And on your knees, you told me those three magical words
I remember the rain as they were singing a romantic tune for us
Then you took my hand in yours and we dance like none has danced before
I remember the rain we shared together.

I remember the day you offered me an antique bronze box, that day it was also raining
I hurriedly opened the box and found a diamond ring in it,
You took the ring and slide it into my finger,
I remember there’s one to join our first kiss, it was the same rain
I remember the rain we shared together.

Today also its raining but now its just me
Standing in the rain and crying by watching that same ring,
Today I am alone `coz now I see you are better your own
May you forgot me and with some one else
But still I remember those days when it used to rain for us
`coz we enjoyed our love in that rain
I remember the first rain we shared together.......

poet Sarah Flower Adams

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
