The Rising Sun Poem by Charles Chibanda

The Rising Sun

The purity of the soul comes from the beauty of the mind.

Above the sky is a vision that no imagination can find.

The reality of nature is in the eyes of the beholder.

As a new baby is born so great is the celebration of the rising sun, placing light in the darkest corners of the heart and warmth in the coldest mist of the spirit.

Across the horizon golden rays dance behind the mountain tops celebrating the coming of a mighty king.

With a mighty roar conquering every hill top to raise the once sleeping earth to a song of no words, a song of no tune, but a song of joy, the song of the soul of the earth.

Together the earth and the sun become one and a new day is born.
