The River With A Sound Poem by Abdul Wahab

The River With A Sound

Between two banks
Sorrow and happiness
Without any break
I flow with a sound
A sweet murmur song
Since I am born
After harvesting rain
Into a swamp
Now a desert place
Before I back again
To make that place
A marshy land
To give me birth
After heavy rain
I won't stop streaming
Until I meet
The mighty ocean
