The Russian Sniper: 'bagir' Is Captured (Italian Sonnet)

Irinu Starikov, code name: Bagir, did murder
forty people including civilians since 2014,
as someone icy-blooded and very mean,
the Ukrainian government has hunted for her.

Her in-laws did not over her bother.
For her, capture was totally unforeseen.
They had left her while she had wounded been;
to them of the wounded she was another.

She mother of two girls aged eleven and nine;
to me a Russian specialized separatist,
to others Serbian, she did for freedom fight,
others do her as a hero define,
killing civilians some see her as a terrorist:
a person with a soul darker than the night.

[Poet's note: Irinu Starikov from Serbia was married to a Belarusian soldier named Aleksandr Orenich nicknamed Gorynych who also do fight for the Russian separatists in Donjeck. A person does wonder what are a Serbian and a Belarusian doing in Donjeck if not sent by Putin to cause insurrection and instability in the Ukraine, to give Russia a reason to invade another sovereign country.]
