The males of cichlid fish do build
Sand castles on lake bottoms so
Dreams of fine mates might be fulfilled,
Drawing in the females to show
Off the sand castles males have made,
Uniquely each with broad mouthed jaw,
To form sand castles that throw shade
In patterns, females 'ooh' and 'aah, '
And when forms a successful match,
The sand castle is where the two,
The male cichlid with female catch,
Snuggle together and make woo.
Sand castle at lake bottom be
Where cichlids share matrimony.
Very charming and interesting poem. Different and very wel conceived, not only enjoyable but learned, something too. Thank yo
