The sands of time are quickly falling from the sky
And while I catch it and throw it in the wind, I say good-bye
Don't let too much slip through your fingers
I pray, seize the day, because time never lingers
Make the most of every opportunity
To the curse of the hourglass, nobody has immunity
As I fly by night I go to perform my duty
The task set by oneself to live life and experience its beauty
Well done dear poet, time's slippery nature and its existing importance have been economically and literally described. v nice
