The Shadow Of Your Silhouette Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Shadow Of Your Silhouette

Darling, I was writing in the living room, when I saw
The shadow of a fascinating figure doing pirouettes.
In the end, I realized that it was your silhouette.
I was so thunderstruck I could not write anymore.

I held my head with my hands, so I could see better,
And to reflect on the near-mysterious situation
That I just confronted. Alas! It was hard to believe.
The floor was shaking. The situation was very curious.

It was the shadow of your silhouette that haunted my thoughts,
Because I had just sent you a very sweet message of love
Intercalated in the middle of a poem. Woman, I saw you
Sage and splendid as a statue singularly made up.
