The Skies Above Us - Quatrain Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The Skies Above Us - Quatrain

The skies above us bring us rain
At night a billion stars give light.
By day the sun shines forth again,
To make this big world warm and bright.

Night comes after day and beckons
Weary bodies to sleep and rest.
Time goes by through changing seasons
We live and breathe, give life our best.

The skies above us - boundless space,
And somewhere there is heaven's home.
When this life ends, shall we see God's face
Shall He meet us and bid us "Come"?
