The Song Of The Happiest Woman Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Song Of The Happiest Woman

Rating: 4.3

I am the happiest woman
I'm the only happy woman

Mother's crying, sister's crying
Sister-in-law's crying
Even grandma's crying
All the women are crying
Oh all the women're crying
So're not happy

Yet I'm the happiest woman
I'm the only happy woman

Do not ask me nasty questions
You know well why they're all crying
But you don't know why I'm happy
I'mthe onlyhappy woman
I am the happiest woman

Do not ask me nasty questions
Do not ask me silly questions
When I say I am not marriied
And I will not marry at all

Do not ask me nasty questions
Do not ask me silly questions
When I say I'm the happiest woman
I'm the only happy woman

I am the happiest woman
I'm the only happy woman

Many women are crying due to many problems in family and society. This is so sad. But you are the happiest woman because you have never attached your mind to joy or sorrow although you live in Earth. No nasty questions can be asked on this. You are clever and your poem is wonderful song. This is excellently penned...10

This has all the elements of a suspense thriller.... with a burst of humour towards the end. Thanks, Indira ji, for sharing it.
