The Spirit
You can kill the body
but you cannot
kill the spirit
because the spirit
never dies
kill the body and
away the spirit flies
you cannot
kill the spirit
you can only
set it free
because the spirit
will forever be
you cannot
bury it in the ground
you cannot
drown it in the sea
the spirit
is the power within you
within me
the spirit
is what brings us joy
the spirit
is what brings us peace!
