Trapped in my thoughts
that I want to escape
But blank black walls surrounding me
They trap me in
And won’t let in light
So I move through this world
Just a blinded simple girl

I have reasons to believe
This whole thing
Was never that important to you
I hope I see your face
when you come back in a dream
And see the woman I can be
And I'll move on to a new life
One day without this knife

The lies and betrayal
The love and the hate
Are not comforted
By the steel of a barrel
I will rise again
And from above
I'll watch you fall
