The Tale Of Eli Poem by Dark Vix

The Tale Of Eli

A small cry is all it took,
As the world rejoiced, the world shook,
A wondrous occasion to celebrate new life,
Born under the star of Bethlehem of Jesus Christ,
As this man grew, he experienced life,
Questioning his faith caused inner turmoil and strife,
However, he is an intellect and has a good support,
Worked his way up and build a rapport,
Charisma, Looks, and a dashing smile,
Leaves every lady thinking, if they are worthwhile
He is a deeply philosophical man with an iron-strong reasoning,
Who shares his views with a poetic string,
As he opens a new door of discussion at every chance,
Some wonder what radical ideas he will try to implant,
Some thoughts that question the very core of a person's belief,
Some cause happiness and laughter, while other cause grief.
It will be interesting to see how this man carves his own destiny,
As he combats against the belief of a predetermined existentiality
And shuns the concept of marriage that priests sanctify,
His story is just beginning, the tale of Eli!
