The Time Traveller Poem by Shivi Gupta

The Time Traveller

When i look in d mirror.
I see failure.
I see loneliness.
I see restlessness.

I failed every exam of life.
I don't know how to even use a knife.
I have forgotten all my skills.
I don't even enjoy those thrills.

I walk the streets alone.
I miss out at every stepping stone.
I never learnt from my mistakes.
I always hunted for vague cakewalks.

Time took away my passion.
Money took away my nation.
Fake Love took away my heart.
Gambling took away my life darts.

Liquor is my companion.
Traveling is my profession.
My belief is lost.
My dedication is froth.

I worship the sun.
Walking towards death's gun.
I want to be surprised by inspiration.
I want to relive my generation.

The pain is loud.
The sky seems proud.
The feelings are dead.
There is no rain shed.

I am aimless.
I am jobless.
I am the time traveller.
I am the time teller.
