The Unborn Baby Poem by Jasbir Chatterjee

The Unborn Baby

Rating: 5.0

Perhaps it is too early to ask...
The baby is not even born.
But as a contributor,
I am curious to know
how the baby would be nurtured
To make it grow into a tree...
which can provide shade, rest, and peace to the oppressed,
Homes for the displaced birds...
More specifically, I wonder
how the anthologies would be promoted;
how many copies would be printed;
What would be the cost per copy;
who would buy them, who would promote them;
Just the authors of the poems, their near and dear ones.
or someone else?

You have introduced the subject in a rather mysterious manner and this is where the real beauty of the poem lies. There is always an element of novelty in your poems.
