The Unfading Flower Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Unfading Flower

The rose, jasmine, lotus...
all the nature given flowers
lose their dazzling hues before the sun sets.

The fresh, active, brilliant youths
come out of the interview
with a fallen face being not successful.

The faces of the parents shrink and sink
when their wards tread towards jails
being proved for some heinous crimes.

When some children win claps and laurels
their peers look dull and cheerless
and lose their interest in studies.

But your face smiling in my heart
ever remains fresh! . How this happens dear?
