Those that reach
For candles
In the dark
Without ever finding
Light,
Those that have been
Left,
To one side
Without ever feeling
Love
As their guide,
The Ones, missing
The other loving heart
That never came,
The tremor of a caress
A caring hand,
Helping in life's
Difficult path,
The Unloved!
Those that cry alone,
Feeling the coldness
Of life's granite stone,
Those that looked,
For Love's Rose,
Finding only thorns,
The Unloved,
Those that finally
Have died,
Because they never
Found, a bit of hope
In life's torturous
Envelope,
A bit of love
That said,
Yes, life is
Worth living
As long as
There is love,
Without it
The solitude,
Of one with one,
Of the Unloved
Is unbearably sad,
A life hardly lived
And Happiness,
Never had.
Can we ever imagine: A life hardly lived And Happiness, Never had...........We all experience life in a different way, the result is a different experience, a different life But a life hardly lived, truly saddest, Sandra. A gorgeous write, Sandra! That gap you wrote about. Amazing!
This is a saddest poem through and through Sandra. About the lonely ones and the unloved. A loveless life. How is this possible? ! As one who believes in God, I know that He provides light, love and shelter, since God IS love. This poem keeps me pondering, dear. Can we ever imagine happiness never had? !
Beautifully and masterfully crafted. Onto my Poem List.
This wonderful poem made me realized how blessed we are that we have Poetry in our life. It is that force that could extend its arms and embrace us when nothing is there to console us. It can provide us warmth and hope that can be used to temper the harshness of life.
What a poignant write. So touching that it brings sadness in one's heart. The way this poem has been expressed and.conveyed stirs the senses that at the end of the write a reader would be teary eyed.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Describing those who are lost, left behind and forgotten - No Love, living behind the shadows of their existence. Very expressive poem. Thanks for sharing.
