a blank paper
limitless as space
to fill the knowledge
here and beyond
and words of God
here, the learned plot
the stars, moon and universe
day and night
to the untutored
the blank paper might
as well be carrying space
limitless, enthralling
yet not fathomable
reachable
the blank page
catches the
essence of the mind
the written is there
the unwritten also there
if you could read
between the lines
if you could sense
the universal mind
the waves at sea
afford only a little view
of the power of the wind
Do you know John, a blank page almost turns me on sometimes, not as much as a new pad! I am aweful but you like me! lol I enjoyed your poem. 10 from smiling Tai
A blank sheet of paper is our invitation to creative adventures yet unknown. What lucky creatures we poets are to be permitted to be even a small part of that power that turns the world around. A fine, insightful piece of work. Regards, Sandra Fowler
