The Walls Of Power Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Walls Of Power

Rating: 5.0

How easy it is, tricking others,
Inventing lies about each other,
But take pity on those who try
To prove those lies are not true!
Or try to stop their ascension to power.

Scaling up, upon the walls of time,
Sadly, the inevitable ivy climbs
And so do non truths,
Invested in promoting scandal's deluge
Benefiting those who seek Power,
To put it to bad use,
And commit all sorts of atrocities,
From their political Tower.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Very few countries are democratic even though they may say they are.
The United Stats is exceptional in its type of Democracy. But there are dark forces not in power now planning to change our society.
So all must be vigilant and beware of politicians 'bearing social gifts 'Nothing is free.
