The Water With Furrowed Brows Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Water With Furrowed Brows

The waters with furrowed brows
Reflected
Reflected in the waves
Beyond
The twilight of the dusk
Now
Into the darkling hues to
Monad hues
Of night and winter
Allies
Of convenience full
This night of nights
For
The competing waters were
With furrowed brows.
