The Weather Is Fine Poem by jodde taylor

The Weather Is Fine

Sun, peering in my eyes
as the daylight opens,
to breathing skies
circulating in tinges of gold
still you remain a vision
flowing across horizons far
all inhibition slides to your majority,
a fateful memory,
flies into wild inspiration.

A place removed,
from shaded vines
a pendulum, swinging high
depths of ancient desires
stretching arms, roaming tranquility
reaching out, a solitary gesture
drowning upon rapid rivers.

Blue, deep, deepest modesty
swimming through the currents
surreal in intensity,
we dived into falling rain
meeting somewhere in between
rising tears of a transcending day.

Still the weather moves
which keeps the sun,
falling from the sky
into my winter,
slowly re-tracing steps
listening to the air
swaying against my neck
summer breezes tie me,
to a beautiful smile
gazing upon a road,
left far behind.

A glance, a brief second
falling in love all over again
Oh' the weather is fine
it's crystal clear
breaking distance,
of a place we shared
the weather is fine,
day still approaches night
stars greeting an open darkness
a ship floating through open seas.

The weather is fine
acclimatizing moody dreams.
