The World Out There Poem by Noah Body

The World Out There

There exists a world out there
A world where gloom does not dare

A world of noise and joy
Where a girl meets boy

And they join in union
In everlasting communion

To live lives of joy and love
Sent down from heaven above

Ever one through thick and thin
Nothing can break them, not a sin

Through hellfire and pain they trudge on
Their love never wavering moving ever on

Through trial and error their love grows stronger
Living without each other grows ever wronger

I once lived in such a world
Where my heart danced and even twirled

Now it's gone forever in a flash
Now against walls of stone does my heart crash

She says she still loves me as a friend
I fear this is the start of the end

She loves another I am sure
Despite she claims she's still pure

I have lost her forever and so I weep
And forever may she my heart keep
