Their Own Expense Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Their Own Expense

Rating: 5.0

Their flaws are now exposed.
And they are fighting tooth and nail,
To keep them camouflaged.
And the oddest thing about that is...
They have become enraged,
At their own expense!
Or a growing lack of common sense,
That has become expensive...
To hide convincingly,
So it seems!

Clever piece. And a brilliant serve at the moneyed elite whose wealth is unable to offer them the protection that used to be their birthright. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
