These People. Poem by Natasha Wellington

These People.

Rating: 5.0

i Start To Think;
About My Past, My Preset, My Future
Then i Blink,
i Think about how Many People said They Would Stay in Touch,
Then it Gets Too Much,
i Think About How Many Friends i Lost Each Time i Moved Away,
& Now i Think i Should Stay

But These Experiences in My Past;
With My Friends, That i've Met & Will Never Forget.
They Are The Ones i Owe My Present Too,
Although There were only a Few;
They Were The Ones Who Helped me Survie,
The Ones who Kept Me Alive.

When Everyone Said i Was Too Young to Feel Something Real,
Something Real Like, Hurt & Dishonesty,
So Im saying These People were There For Me.
When Everyone Said i Sounded Like i Was Going Insane,
When all i Really Felt Was Pain.
These People Mended,
What Others Couldn't do.

These People Have Made Me Who i Really Am today.
These People Lay;
They Lay At The Bottom of My Heart,
Though we Are Apart.
I Know That They Will Never Leave, Never Walk Out When Things Go Wrong,
Because They are The Ones who Made Me Strong.

ei tash! i can relate with your poem: i hate it (or don't love it, or don; t like it) when people leave me...and it hurts to think that you change jobs or move out of the boarding house and leave behind the people who have shared your world for sometime...but that's how life goes...i hope you oculd dropp by my posts and share comments on my poems too...mwah!
