A promise
They are easy to give
We always mean to make them real
Although hard to actually deliver

Change
It can happen, but it is never easy
A life time of habits
Are hard to break
Even when you know better

Trust
Although never as easy to do
Especially when you have been hurt
Still necessary to learn again

Forgiveness
We want this one more
Than we can ever acknowledge to anyone
Without accepting
What we want most is to forgive ourselves

Love
This is maybe the easiest to give
But the hardest to hold on to

Hope
We need this more than any other
By virtue of it being
The key
It is what gets you out of bed
Every morning
And lets you know
That anything is possible
