This Beautiful Ambiguity... Poem by Asma Khan

This Beautiful Ambiguity...

Rating: 5.0

I am the ocean, so dark, so deep
putting all memories back to sleep
where the roaring waves shout loud and lonely
and time's salt swallows them till they sweep

It's a long and lonely existance
that calls me towards your attention
wiping out many impressions
leaving behind prints of your unexisting presence

Heaven was a true place
on this earth with you
where we lived ages in dreams along
in a glass bubble that just blew

This beautiful ambiguity
leads my reins to nowhere
your thoughts reach me in a moment
and burn me down till I disappear

Everything was screaming
the sea, the wind, my heart
I was struggling to gather you up
while everything else fell apart

Let's roll the dice
for I may win over you once again
I have spent all my light
to walk with you a mile, on one single lane
