This Is Our Story Poem by Ipsita Mohapatra

I'm afraid we might be falling in love.

Somewhere between friendship and relationship,
We have created our world.
Are we lovers?
Or are we just two people passing one another?

You show me a world I'm unable to see,
But trust me, you make me very happy.
I'm aware we've gotten so close,
But I'm afraid to admit it the most.
I think I know where I stand,
But I'm also as confused about that.
Is it just me?
Or are you feeling this too?

I wrote you this poem,
Not just for you but for me too,
Because I know I could never voice my feelings with you,
But words written across a paper will always be true,
And I know I can be honest with you.
