This Silence And This Noise



THIS SILENCE AND THIS NOISE

This silence and this noise
This man alone
And this crowd of loudly speaking people
This world of active happening all around
And this man alone writing a poem
This broken world of noise outside
And this inner music of these few lines
This everything elsewhere always outside
And this inner writing feeling me
Within and beyond it all.
