Tick, Tock - Poem by Neela Nath

This day will be
yesterday some hours
later...
Another day will be added
with past.
My father, grandfather,
their friends and kins,
neighbors talked too much
beguiling their time
in duty, fun and frolic,
as they were the kings,
even time can't touch
them, no old age, no disease....
But, time chuckled,
as it is now smiling at
our foolishness......
Time is added to time,
no past, no present
or future....
Time strides,
and we brag,
though we listen every sec
the ticks of time...
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
tick.......

The clock never skips a beat but the heart does. The clock
when fall behind can be wound to catch up. Time no waits for
no man. Man has to wait on time. Very inspiring. (Report) Reply

The beat of time is all the same as that of words, tic tock tic tock, just add or maybe you subtract until you get the beat intact. (Report) Reply
