Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock Poem by Lorena Lalen Cruz

Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock

Rating: 5.0

Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
The clock is ticking
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
The bell is clanging
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
I can see it clear
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
My death is near
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
I can't forever stay
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
There's no other way
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Accept what's given
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Accept it'll be taken
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
It might not be today
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
It might be the next day
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
I'll use my time properly
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Before I even leave reality
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Oh, I can hear the clock
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
There's no turning back
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Here comes what I fear
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Death is what I hear
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Come on, I need to hear your sigh
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Before I wave goodbye

Wonderful use of the ticking sound of the clock...It felt as if the sound was real! While you were speaking there was this faint tick-tock I was hearing.. Nice poem! Keep writing!
