I miss your warm arms
and your beautiful smile
i'm ashamed to still miss you
we've been apart for awhile

When you would say goodnight
I never felt alone
because I knew I'd wake up
with a message on my phone

'Good morning beautiful.'
is what it would say
and those simple words
always made my day

I miss the nights
that I remember the best
where you would hold me close
to the warmth of your chest

There were some hard times
when I was far from alright
and no matter how tired you were
you stayed up with me all night

We were very much in love
but now we are apart
and I have come to realize
that time can't fix this broken heart
