My government informed me that my staying will be extended for two months
I may stay here in Indonesia till August
You told me as if it were a good news
I just looked closely at your mouth as you said that
Saying nothing
Trying to control my feeling
Two months or less or more
At last you would return to your country
Perhaps you could read my mind
Oh, come on
You gently drew me near
And wrapped your arms around me
I hid my face on your chest
You held me more and more tightly
Maybe you could feel
Your white shirt was wet with my tears
Although I tried hard not to make any sound
I feel something is missing in our paradise home
You said that every time you took me back to my town
However it was just temporary
Because you knew that we would meet again soon
But things were different with your leaving
How would I cope with that
You would not see all things that became our memories
When you were back to your country
I would live with all of them
The roads, the sky, the rain, the wind and the restaurant
All would remind me of you
Everyday
Time ….
Why would time separate us
No matter whether time is linear or cyclical
Real or illusion
It made no difference for me
As in essence both were the same to me
You would leave the place
I would be here and I could not meet you
I would remember you but I could not hold you
Why should time be measured by day, week, month and year
Why should there be August
I wished although we lived on the Earth
But time would be measured
Using the orbit of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto
I wished we could be in the same spaceship
Traveling fast at the speed of light
So time would stop completely
Just as Albert Einstein told the world
And we could be in timelessness
No past, no present, no future
You and me
In timelessness
