Titleless Poem by Baharak Barzin

Titleless

Rating: 5.0

Such a beautiful morning
I saw butterflies dance and laugh

Such a a kind noon
I kissed him twice behind the old timber

Such a creepy afternoon
I wandered in the middle of nowhere

Such a velvet night
When he comes to take my last blast

It's appropriate you called this TITLELESS because it is really about EVERYTHING THAT EXISTS squeezed into one day. And your title alerts us to the fact this day's activities represents the repetition of things over and over, day after day. There is a heaviness of spirit this reality might convey but your poem treats it as lightly as a feather and reveals an astonishing spiritual lightness. It shows that life cannot be reduced to those events unfolding one after another but rather life is the flow of energy which carries them through time and space. And Life transcends these details in a joy of Being. That's what your poem gives me.
