To good efforts

Sometimes you overestimate
and make exit
at a time when things were to turn
at a crucial time in favor

failures are attributed
to the things not related
to good efforts
but with the shortcomings

failure or success
you got to chase
and make the forceful race
and face the consequences

life is a real challenge
and one has to strive hard and manage
it gives no let-up
if you are not able to shoot

The journey is meant for the bed of roses
you may have many misses
some times, the death may kiss you nearly
but the survival chances may be provided regularly
